Hi everyone, so glad I found this board. I have been a pill addict for 25 years, and have had clean time, sponsors, done step work, etc. I don't mean etc. lightly. I lost one career that I had for 25 years, and was lucky enough to go back to school and start a new one. I am going to be 50, have a beautiful grandaughter, a son, a wonderful man in my love and the unconditonal love of my family!! What the hell, well started meetings 2 weeks ago, and went and got my white key tag in addition to the blue 6 month one. I have been white knuckling it for months and it's not going to keep me clean. This program and the addicts in it will. I thank you for being here, and will forever be greatful!!

We have been waiting for you :) It seems you know the"solution" and are willing to get back in.We are here for each,no big I'S or little U's,one addict helping another,sharing our experience ,strength and hope in a loving and caring way!Congats on your recent work,As our literature tells us"those who get the most out of our program are those to whom sponsorship is important.Our recovery experienced through our 12 steps is our goal and not mere physical abstinence,takes work and commitment.I can only suggest getting back in the solution,working with sponsor,showing up at meetings and giving back however you can can keep you moving forward,in recovery ,a day at a time.Thank you for being here,we need you..Happy New Year... In fact, you don't have to leave again if you don't want to. NA gives us the choice to not use again, one day at a time. It works if we work it.
Go to 90 meetings in 90 days and you'll be well on your way. Drugs may have been out of your system for 6 months but it seems you've come to understand as we have that abstinence does not equal recovery from the disease of addiction. 90 meetings in 90 days if the NA Way to a better way of life is the way you choose to go. NA has worked for me for 30 years one day at a time, and can work for you too, one day at a time. I alone can do it but I can't do it alone. You get to choose today, live or die.
