Been on the road from 12th october and only just got back home this 2nd November. First there was the regional meeting and then a plirimage place. Then onto a Convention and some music events. The final phase was an Outreach to a developing area......... Travels, trails and tribulations, capped with new experiences and intense joys........
Oh,, the Bliss of growth, the Splendour of action and, the Glory of Power !!!!!!

Yea Don; like the journey started with the reigonal meeting at this town called Chandigarh about 2000 miles from here. And like all business meetings was just plain buiness.
Then came the visit to this pilgrimage town called Rishikesh,,, in Indian that means the place of Meditators. It is a very old town, about 2000 years of continous habitation. Many temples and many gurus, teachers of yoga, quacks, cracks and ornery folk all come looking for salvation there. People from all over the West come here too.....they look real different here !!! That bridge is symbolic; eons have seen people crossin the river, searchin for that missin something. Through changin times, that has remained constant. Those monkeys on the bride were symbolic too,, me tryin to crossover from instinctive behaviour to Higher Functions... Makes more meanin to me when I think of how I spent a whole afternoon watchin that bride from a cafe on the riverside...I suddenly realized that the bride meant different things to different people.....seems to co- relate to the 12 Steps in many ways too !!!!
And sure,, yea,, hahaha,,, those monkeys are near human the way they express themelves. This monkey irl whom I took pics of oblied at first and then expressed irritation after I tried to et too many shots,,,, gee,,, that was for real. Somethin was said, I didnt understand, but got the message so I backed off !!!
And yes, I got my wee fair share of Meditation too.........
And then off I went to the Delhi area Convention. Three days of Blissful sharings, chairings, Fellowshipping, chatting, Stepping and feeling like I was bein the best recoverin addict that I could be !!! The food was reat, my music flowed well,, tumultous applause, chaired well and formed bonds for life !!! Just one foreigner here, the woman from Turkey...
And then the road got me back down South and the PR event....
Seems like my existance is justified by these lines from a poem; " Bed in the bush, with the stars above, give to me the life I love, and the road below me !!""

And now a lady I casually talked to there is now in Bangalore and we spent the mornin toether,, train station, breakfast, walkin, Meditating and lunch !!!
I wonder where this is leading to,,, and is in the "open question"..

AWESOME--u r such an ambassador for this fellowship--also very glad to see you did not really just "disappear"-I must have missed the post where u said u were going on this journey! Love the pics, it's like being there (well, not really, but at least gives us a taste.) Welcome back.
