I was afraid something like that might happen. Personally, I am not especially fond of on-line meetings. They have value, and can be life savers for those who live in remote areas, or those who are housebound. Neither of these cases applies to me. If I don't get out and meet other addicts face to face at meetings, my disease will have me isolating, and feeling lonely and sorry for myself in no time. I'm sorry that you gave a meeting and no one showed. I admire your dedication. There are f2f meetings where this happens. Some of them disappear, but other times the chairperson just keeps holding the meeting and eventually people start showing up and coming back. It's a good thing that your doing Manon. Follow your heart.
Yes Manon! I have never been to an online meeting either, but I applaud your tenacity in trying to get this hooked up.I'll try and remember next wednesday,I sometimes attend a 7:00 pm meeting here in PK,but I'll look and see.Excellent service work,,,,,hang in ...Have a blessed day!

Manon: My sponsor started the home group I got clean in by himself. He said he would make a pot of coffee and pour half of it out for a couple of months before the little group took off. Man am I glad it was there in 1987 and 1989 when I got clean!
I say follow your heart on that, I did 5 years worth of Salvation Army Parole required meetings that 60 people attended by court order. I have no idea if those guys stayed clean or not, not a one! But here I sit, 21 years and alot of NA miracles in my life.
We have a voicechat group called navoices .com it is at a site called voxili .com .You need a microphone and headphones .We have 4 meetings a week ,all are welcome to check it out.I was gone to Boston last night on road trip NA meeting.
Hi Manon just wanted to let you know that I've tried to get into the meeting quiet a few times but I can't get it to work and I know that alot of members here have the same trouble.
