My higher power has lead me down the right path again. When I became clean over 3 years ago, I decided to give back and took a class to be an EMT. Our village is a volunteer service. I have volunteered for over 3 years now. You always learn alot of skills that you hardly ever use. My higher power put me in the right place at the right time. A 31 year old male was unresponsive and not breathing at a store in our village and happened to be there. Immediatly called for our ambulace and started CPR with a bystander. It seemed like forever that they got to us but really it was only a few minutes. After about 2 minutes this male started to try to gasp for air. He was taken to an area hospital and underwent surgery. He had 100% blockage in his arteries. Today he is alive and recovering. That is the blessing I got from NA. I am truly gratefull that I had the tools to do good. We all know we did so much bad in our addiction. The feeling of saving ones life is undescribable. I have never felt that feeling before. Trust in your higher power! You will never be let down.

Well first off I want to congratulate you on you being clean and for you giving back to ur community.. Its nice to kno that it is very true tat someone can change there life and your the living proof.. I myself have been clean for sum months but all is going well.
