Todays spiritual message for my family today was based on "memorials".We talked of Washington monument, VietNam Memorial,Lincoln memorial ,Tomb of the Unknown Soldier,etc,,,and the thousands of memorials erected around the world so when people ask in the future 'what was that for" they can be remembered..But the message was 'what memorial can I leave for my family,my friends and loved ones.For me,it was evident the best memorial I could leave behind would be a memory of a man,who worked his best to be all that God intended him to be and to live a life that would show that in action through all of lifes joy's and pains! To be able ,through my actions,to put forth the idea that going to our Higher Power(your own faith beliefs)in all things and in all situations,bring prayer and petition,I believe for me, would be the best memorial I could leave behind! If I can instill in 'all" around me ,that allowing our Higher Power  to do the things that we can't do in lifes situations I will have built a strong foundation that may help another move forward.(especially my children,wife and family)The spiritual principles of Narcotics Anonymous,guided by the "God" of your understanding can defintely allow you to leave a memorial,A person fallible and needing lots of work but reaching toward "living" and not talking about a better life....Great message,I pray to be around a long time,if it is God's will,as to pass on a legacy to my children and my loved ones.
A spiritual writing that brings me great peace."Teach a child in the way he should go ,and when he is old he will not turn from it;! It certainly seemed evident in my own life,and it took awhile to start honing in on it!!!:)Continue to keep me teachable my God,,so I can continue to learn!!!Rambling  ON in the SUNDAY EVENING"LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE!!(our new rented house) peace my friends!
