As RCM from this area, I led a few addicts on an outreach to a place 200 miles away. One old timer ( this was the 4th time in going on that trip), two panel leaders, two repeat travellers and one new comer was the team.
The trip began Friday morning..
Then on Saturday and Sunday, we did some Hand I and a PR. The hosts were great and spared no effort in their hospitality. We must have taled to about 200 addicts in all.
We also had 7 of us do a sea-side Na recovery meeting. The Sunday, regularly scheduled NA recovery meeting was a great experience too.
All in all, a great experience for the travelling group, and inspite of a few hiccups here and there, I think we achieved that programs objectives, to reach out to the still suffering addict by being present in a developing areas event.....

Things are getting a bit heated and hectic here. I have the dissertation to hand in and am doing it at snils pace...Im hoping the university will grant me an extension.
I have been asked by friends here to nominate for Regional Delagate-alternate from Bangalore Area. It is now this area's turn in the rotation policy of India region and Im thinking I am well suited to this position.
Ive had a long run serving NA t the best of my ability,, and see this as the logical step into a new level of service....
Im also hping I will win (of course,, he,he,he !!!) and this is Gods will for me and that I am doing the right thing for the right reason...

There is definitely nothing wrong with thinking you are right for the position.I AM SURE YOUR SERVICE,YOUR HUMBLE APPROACH AND GENUINE CONCERN FOR THE STILL SICK AND SUFFERING WILL RING TRUE IN ANY NOMINATING PROCESS.We are all only one addict helping another ,no Big I's or little U's......Let us know how it goes.Good luck with you dissertation,it will be fine,anxiety and nervousness can bring out the best in us(playing in the band,playing sports,taking on challenging events,there will be the right amount of "fight or flight " in you Im sure and botttom line God's will will be done!!!peace my friend! say hey and hug your family for me,,we can't tell them we love them enough or hug them when we can!!!!!!!:)
