Last night ,my son was using my car and I went out in yard saw the tailights /break lights were on and went to shut them off.Woulndnt shut off,Couldn't figure it.Now Im getting cranked.'WHAT DID YOU DO TO IT,WAS FINE WHEN i WAS USING IT,ETC.sO ANYWAY I DRIVE TO SHOP.BUTTON STICKING ETC,ITS A 1990 TOYOTA.WHAT DO WANT RIGHT!.So im sitting in my wifes car and I start saying Eric did  etc...Wife says,there you go ,Erics fault right.Things happen(my guru ,my wife) so I said yeah your right,let me call Eric up.I make amends tell him sorry for blaming him/running car out of gas,because it had no gas to start with ,Eric says thats okay dad ,you always do that!!My wife says ,yeah you been beating us up for 30 yeARS(MIND YOU WE ONLY BEEN MARRIED 26 AND MY SON IS ONLY 24.So i says to her,I thought I have been applying principles through the last so many years and getting better at my stuff.She gives me no quarter and says ,yeah ,but keep working! Boy did I need that...It is so easy to get complacent,thinkyour maybe ahead of where you really are in some matters,etc.I said well you know ,Im DOING THE BEST i CAN TO WORK ON MY JUNK BUT ITS A PROCESS  BLAH.BLAH,BLAH,,,SORRY...same answer ,continue working she says......Love and recovery are such blessings and the lessons we can learn if we really communicate and listen to the feedback ,even if you dont like it!!anyway no biggie ,its all good ,I just wanted to share that with you,like to see my junk in writing,it has always helped me..Progress not perfection huh! Im still not that well,but certainly much better than i was My 6th step defintely put me in the "entirely ready mode but 2 OF THEm BABIES(SHORTCOMINGS).WANTING TO BLAME AND NEED TO BE RIGHT!!...continue to stick out...alright back to work Mike.if thats the "bad stuff going on in your life,how blessed are you???   peace.....
