being a member of something bigger than myself (my NA Family) Iused to saY I would never belong then all year last year my Family stuck beside me to help me thru the worst part (or so it seems) of my life I am grateful for MIP and it's members. I am grateful I am not dispondent for once I am grateful I am not letting the past drag me back down I am grateful for the simplethings in life I am grateful to be able to say "it coulds always be worse"

I know a guy in the rooms who had hip replacement surgery. He was complaining that his leg hurt and was feeling pretty sorry for himself. Then into the meeting comes this other guy we know who lost a leg in a motorcycle accident. My friend got a big dose of gratitude and his problem seemed pretty small.
