I hope you find someone who can help you. Have you been to meetings in your area? You will get to listen to different women and choose who to ask. No matter what....keep coming back.
I was going to ask what Avid asked... Meetings? The best way to find a sponsor is to go to as many meetings as possible and to talk to women face to face. I'm not opposed to "long distance" or phone sponsorship but I don't think it's optimum, particularly for an admitted manipulator :) I need to look into the eyes of who I'm working with if at all possible!
Let me know if meetings are, for some reason, impossible for you.

Do you attend the online meetings here, or elsewhere? Do you have the NA literature or know where to access it? I'm all those things you said you need in a sponsor and I'm willing but as a sponsor I require work, writing, meeting attendance of some kind, stepwork, regular phone contact. You willing?

Way to go for reaching out - Suggestion - Go to meetings find a sponsor in your area - It will benefit you more - face to face sponsorship - If you truly want to do this - that is the step I would and have taken - Wish you love on this journey
Your post took lots of courage!!! Ask your HP to put a woman in your life and it will happen. I know for me....the woman thing was hard....but I finally found someone that I could trust.
At times in my recovery when couldn't seem to find the right sponser...I tried different meetings in my area.
