Todays message shared earlier with me so pertinent! says 'SOME OF THE CHOICES WE MADE AFFECT SOME OF THE CHOICES WE COULD HAVE MADE FOR THE FUTURE!So true,(felonys,aids,family wreckage,physical disabilities,brain damage,etc)But the hope shot , I firmly believe God is still directing the path and when one thing shuts down another thing opens up.Through the spiritual principles of Narcotics Anonymous,our faith and trust in a Higher Power and some daily work we can still be everything our God intended for us to be.Our agenda maybe be totally out of context with what our HP's is for us?..Got to step back and let it happen,certainly takes work from this addict to get out of the way but today at least I have a shot at it!! Have a blessed and productive day!

Im in my first thirty again and Im so grateful to NA I am so blessed to have lived through those dark days . My choices directly affect my new choices I have legal problems that affect my employabilityMy son is using and my new clean date doesnt impress him I know that all things can work together for those who love God Thank you for being there Im out in the country and its not easy to get to a meeting this time of day . Thanks One day
Welcome ONEDAY!!,Each day Avid posts 'Just for Today " for us and for those who don't have a copy.A blessed way to start each day.Glad you are back on track.Each day clean for an addict is a miracle.I also have a 24 year old in recovery from Heroin addiction and can Identify with the 2 fold addict/parent of addict scenario.We can do this together by working our process of Narcotics Anonymous and trusting in our HP.Hope to hear more from you!

Great post---(hope shot). When I begin to lose hope I am on a terrible path and it is only the God of my understanding that keeps me from sliding into the deep end of the depression pool. It's all in the steps...everything I need to keep on keepin' on, and have at least a reasonably good time while I'm at it.
