Sure thing Rocky,, the day I feel very good about myself is when Ive lived just for today and done many thing in that day.
I believe I should do at least one act in the foillowing realms of my life=
NA
Family Work
Friends
Prayer and Meditation and writing
excercise
something new

All of these activities depend on my reading about them and following theory or trying to relate an experience to theory.

"And the word IS God",, I believe that.
What I read and hear will stay with mefor the rest of my life.
More than what other senses experience like smell, taste, sight, and feel/ touch, what I hear , what i hear in those words I read will be embedded in my memory more deeply than other sense impressions.
This will be verified by psychiatrists, psycholigist and philosophers and goes to show me that reading is a very essentail part of my recovery.

That said, the balancing act is very important too, so I mix and match.

Don and Mike, I was at first irritated with these many daily messages I got from that group and used to delete them without even reading.

Then one day a thought said
"Hey, hang on, lets read it once" and I did.

And I was pleasently surprised by the quality of those messages.

Many of em could be recovering people, God knows where they are and in what Program but God Bless em,,,
