attitude of gratitude

I have been having a rough go of it in fact now having allergic reaction to one of the many meds I am on (does it ever stop?)
so I thought I would think of the things I am grateful for:
I am grateful to have roof over my head,
food to eat,
medical insurance {couldn't imagine what I would do without it}
this site even if I use it to express my fears tears and smiles,
I am grateful to have some hope or maybe faith would be a better word in a power greater than I,
I am also grateful for that higher power *won't put on me anything I can't handle*
I am grateful for my son and mother and my fiance'

in t his I realize things could always be worse and I don't wanna take the simple things for granted like the sounds of dogs playing children laughing the nice spring weather and simple as it gets my next breath cause it is never a given we live only breath by breath and we all put our pants on one leg at a time

what are you grateful for??confuse

Right now I am feeling especially grateful for family.
I'm here on Long Island New York visiting them.
Yesterday I had wonderful day with my brother.
We visited the Fire Island lighthouse, had a nice lunch and just speant
a warm brotherly love afternoon.
I went to meeting Last night and was welcomed as an out of town visitor, so as always I am grateful for the fellowship.
The sun is shining this morning and I have a full day of family oriented activity.
I am truly blessed.

One of the best things I can do for myself...and one that I oh-so-quickly, and oh-so-often-forget...just plain block out of my consciousness...is to just plain sit still for twenty minutes, out in the fresh air, and breathe--slowly, steadily-just breath the daggone wonderful air!!

Sometimes I used to get so wound up in whatever I was doing (inside) that I forgot to go outside. Even on a Saturday!! And then when I finally did go out, I fiound myself almost gulping air. And I realize I had actually been "starving" myself by getting too comfortable inside.

Now I give thanks for WiFi and my laptop and make sure I get enough fresh air! Sometimes it is the most simple things that make the biggest difference in my serenity for the day!
