It represents me, just hanging on most of my life, being swept away by lifes current. The barbed wire which the hand is snagged on was an idea from my tattooist that I really liked, the sketch is one I found many years ago, that is a Michael Angelo sketch it was simply one of many sketchs he did and it may be in some of his art some where but thats the only one I had ever seen.
Beautiful art Vin!Last year I got Michael the Archangel stepping on satans head denoting ,for me, the forces of evil being conquered by God's forces.Although shunned on by my faith beliefs,I do love beautiful skin art..progress not perfection in areas I;m working on :)

Very Cool Vin! like Avid I got the message as soon as I seen it. Glad things are better than just hanging on for you. These last few weeks have been more like an emotional rollercoaster for me and I am definitely ready for this ride to end. I must say I am impressed though. I mean how many men are secure enough w/ their masculinity to admit it did hurt a little. lol How many tats do you have? Just curious?
