Having had a spiritual awakening as the results of these steps we carried the message to other addicts and practiced these principles in all our affairs.
Well it's not just a promiss it's really happening for me as i had hoped it would, its a slow process but im on step 9 and having gotten past those last few steps brought on a lot of discovery and discarding and a lot more spirituality into my life and me closer to God.
Had a guy ask me to sponsor him yesterday so i'll see if he follows up and meets me on sunday but he probably wont like my first suggestion which was make 5 meetings per week at least, probably wont hear back LOL, but in my experience the more the better even after years of being clean i didnt make many live meetings and i missed out on so so so much, thats a huge part of this program along with the steps and a sponsor with out them not much real growth or sobriety is going to happen, we're sick people and we need all the help we can get and this program is designed in a particular way, its therapeutic and that part is going to meetings listening to others share and sharing of ourselves and working those steps to the best of our ability's.
Ok just checking in and letting everyone know all is real well, thngs are changing, better coping skills and more spiritual tools in my box hoping for even more sobriety as the journey goes forward, Love you all..
wAT TO GO vIN!i ALSO HAVE TAKEN ON ANOTHER SPONCEE ,JUST TOOK OVER gsr FOR OUR AREA GROUP AND trying to continually "practise my 3rd and 11th steps daily to keep me grounded.Things are well in our area 'just or today"Dean gave you nice shoutout for your 3000 12th step writings!Have a blessed daylove you too man!

Hey V. Glad your taking on a sponsee. Don't sweat the 5 meetings a week thing. In my area it's pretty standard to have newcomers make a meeting a day for ninety days. It's a challenge for sure. I missed one myself, but I still got to know pretty much all the meetings around, so it's a good thing
Thanks guys this guy has 11 month clean but not working any sort of program and i think he's begining to think drugs again having troubles at home with wifey.
For some reason ive not been able to get approved with an ID on the AA board and lost johns number, i'll email him and see if i can get in over there and mess with Dean LOL
