Hey Tisa! My new sponcee changed sponsors because his sponsor would not work steps with him,I believe very valid reason, there are some others, for example you've outworked your sponsor(they have worked less steps than you)like cd said if you can't relate, obviously if they pick up, if they become possessive or controlling, breach of trust(confidentiality issues)location issues (one of you move away)personality clashes or intolerence etc..I do believe it is proper for growth of both sponsor and sponcee to discuss face to face why its not working,if you just stop calling relationship will be shot anyway.. sure there are many others but these are some I feel are valid.....smile

I agree there are good reasons to change sponsors,
but there are also bad ones.
I have seen people dump sponsors because the sponsor was making suggestions that the person wasn't willing to follow.
Dumping your sponsor can be just another way to avoid looking at yourself and making some changes.
