Today as I was getting ready to leave work to go get materials, Im suddenly thinking about how Im gonna talk the boss out of 10 or 20 bucks for gas or something. feeling very nervous. My girl friend calls and tells me that my daughter is pretty sick and that she probably should go to the doc. Now I would never wish illness on my children but at the end of the day Im glad that it worked out the way it did. Turns out that she's not quite as sick as we thought. And I didnt get high. What a frickin miricle! Oh yeah.... and the urge went away!

I'm glad things worked out the way they did for you. But you can't count on a "rescue" phone call. Like Mike said...develop your own resources. Internally, by fortifying yourself with the strength and love of a higher power, and externally by getting and using a support group. Next time YOU make the phone call.
