you would think I have things to look forward to;although i am utterly depressed
tears continue to fall as each and everyday I am away from mi cortazon seems to get more difficult. I need to cry I need to be held i just want someone to care

Prayer, meditation and exercise. When you feel depressed exercising is the last thing one wants to do. Try it, even if for just 10 minutes. It does help.

Hey Manon,hang in there,,try something you wouldnt normally do like bowling,fishing,something active to bring you up and moving..I dont know something to shake yourself up.I remember in 1986  when i got severe tinnitus in my left ear from years of drums and shotguns,the high pitched whistle was going to make me insane if I didnt do something to shake mysellf up.I could not draw my focus away from that never ending noise in m y head until I made a concerted effort to do something out of the norm for me.Eventually thru prayer and work I overcame the noise by distracting myself,,,We are here for you,get with your God and let Him handle it,,,,,,peacesmile

Manon thank you for your honest post about being lonely. It's comforting to know although recovery has been extremely lonely for me in so many ways that after reading your replies I am reminded once again I may be lonely but I am definitly not alone in my addiction or my recovery. Hang in there and Good Luck.
