Believe it or not, my sister's search for her deceased husband's old recovering addict friend from NYC in the early 80's actually paid off and he has been located!

I had posted here a request for help in the search a few pages ago, so this is the follow-up. It's awesome to realize that even across two decades and the distance between her old life in NY and subsequent life in VA, there are still people in recovery there who remembered her & Matty from that long ago...and that those connections, even though not kept up with, are still there when you need 'em!!
