Had surgery on my knees doing good so far

main thing is not abusing vicodin, I had quite a bit of dicomfort yesterday and pretty much stayed on the prescription had to take one extra last night this morning all is good took one anyhow just to keep it down.

Had a new ACL ( from cadavar) put in and my miniscus repaired further recovery is about 4 months off work already been off about 4 now  so half way there.

Coming out of that damned crap they put you under ( same anestiaga  stuff michael jackson OD'd on ) is tough takes a few hours to get your bearing, i had my mom staying the day and night and it gave me us a chance to talk about some things its been nice hanging out with her haven't done this in quite awhile.

Anyhow all is well im a new machine ready to get on iwth therapy which is gonna be tough for awhile getting used to the new ligament.

Makes my knees hurt just thinking about it Vin. I have heard the key to quick recovery is to start bending the knee(s) as soon as you can. Get moving soon smile

Ain't it great that we can actually get replacement pieces-parts!!!!

Kinda like recovery...no pain, no gain! I'm sure if you use the meds as you need them, as directed, and keep your recovery support aware of where you're at (rigorous honesty) you'll come through the necessary pain management phase just fine. Warm thoughts your way.
