It depends on which trusted servant we are talking about.




If a particular trusted servant has abused my trust in the recent past, I do second-guess them quite a bit, and moniter them fairly close.



For the most part, though, I do put a lot of trust in people in NA who want to serve and give back.



I do believe, however, that you should actually take some time to GET some recovery before you try to give back... but thats just my opinion...

Hello Tisa! Merry Christmas!.We just had a situation where the treasurer of our saturday mens group had been using funds to help pay his own bills and when money was needed to put on a "speaker jam" it wasnt available.To me it seemd that the voting process used to put him in this position was a little flawed and group conscience judgement was overlooked.This is not my home group but a 'MENS ONLY" GROUP and there were a lot of "tight' members.The treasurer was replaced,the money was recouped(after a period) and more discernment now takes place when voting in trusted servants..The group conscience now expects better checks and balances among the trusted servants(E.G.business meeting audits,receipts,more dialog from members"who do not govern"!...Tough position!
