Ive often been accused of having multiple personalities... and when I was still using, I would often "lose time", which is a common symptom of MPD... but once I got completely clean, the symptoms lessened a great deal, so obviously, I wasn't a true multiple... but for a long time I was scared that I was.

tisa - on one of my skid marks along the bottom, i was diagnosed as bipolar (in a single, 45 minute interview) and given meds and a bucket full of excuses. well, i sure made a bunch of 'em! at any rate - after getting clean, all of those symptoms disappeared.
thought I would rephrase what I had written when I realized I was lashing out... MPD aka DID is not drug induced it is a series of extreme abuse that a childs mind cannot process therefor splinter off as a copin /protective ways to cope
