Thanks family, for being part of my recovery

Hello everyone, been a couple busy blessed days.Last nightshared at a meeting on 7th step, definitely was a God centered meeting and lots of great sharing from the heart thruout the room, great way to top off my day.We had a cool ice cream cake my wife got for my anniversary when I got home,me ,my son and a friend and my wife..I'll have to trade my running in for 'sumo wrestling" soon if I KEEP THAT UP!!! Tonite just got home from my Naranon fellowship where we shared some great feelings on how we are 'working" our process with our family situations and how to detach from the ones we love so they can "begin their individual journeys!!Few new people came into the room hoping  "to begin their process of detaching with love...Monday night having celebration at my home group 'NEW DAZE'My family coming,my sponsor and some friends I asked to speak.Lookin forward to sharing the message with the newcomers and fellowship of our wonderful process!!I wanted to thank each and everyone of you here for being part of my recovery process as we are all in this together.Theres no big I's or little U'S here.We arent junkies or     speed freaks or garbage heads or crackheads but people who suffer from the disease of addiction from which there is no known cure but can be arrested and recovery is then possible.Clean time doesnt equal recovery as we all know but it can be one of our greatest assets. All of us have something to offer whether its 1 day or 10 years, some of us have just been treating themselves a little longer than others.Talk to you all on the rebound,God bless,,,,,,,,,,,,peacesmile
