Just wanted to introduce myself...

Hi everyone, I am a recovering addict who is still struggling through every day of my life to make the right decision about my pill problem.  I am going through a tough time in my life as I have just recently left my home where I was abused domesticly by my husband.  I did get my daughter with me to saftey though and am very thankful for that.  Right now I do not have a way to drive to meetings so I am hoping that through this program I can stay in contacts with other addicts to help me stay clean and sober.  It isn't easy.  I almost have 60 days now, but I came way to close the other day.  Anyway, just wanted to get in here and get to making contacts.  Thanks for listening.

Welcome. Glad your are safe and clean. If possible, Face 2 face meetings are your best resource. Try calling the helpline in your area. You can get the number for your area from the NA website there are often members willing to give rides to meetings

Welcome, Lindsey! Congrats on your 60 days! Also congrats on beginning your recovery from domestic violence! Many of us have been in toxic and/or abusive relationships. (Funny how they go hand in hand with addiction!)

You are a miracle! Keep coming back!

Hi Lindsey! Welcome to our family!!

When I first started I didnt have a car either. Once I found myself to one meeting, it was fairly easy to get a way to go. I was quite fearful of asking perfect strangers.I soon found out that these were not strangers to me for longer than that first meeting!! They welcomed me with love and warmth and I truly felt comfortable enough to start asking around.
That said, Big V is right. There is alot of help and support right here and its here for the taking!
We would love to have you!!!!!
Keep Coming Back!!
