I have been in this program for more than two years.I feeling alright today besides for pain.I started to work on my fourth step again. I was working on it. When it come to me that if I had to write a book on my life. A lot of it would be excuse why I had to go and take the drugs.  It's funny how those excuse are now keeping my alive and not taking the drugs.
I had minor brain surgery last week for blood clots and a tumor that they found there. They didn't find any cancer. I'm greatful for that. I been going to theraphy which I hate. But I'm also use to it been a martial arts teacher. I guess I don't like others telling me how to do it. I think thats funny when I look back to all the things I did. My little boy is the only thing that kepts me going. Without you guys supporting me I don't know what I would have done. I just want to thank you.
There are things that do not change no matter how hard you try.  But you have to look out for yourself and do it for yourself. If you don't you"ll be right back were you started. Yes families are important But what good is it to your family if your not doing this for yourself.
Believe in yourself.  I believe in all of you. Take at one second,minute,hour, or a day at a time. I tell people that just start out to do one second and work up. I say I'm clean that second. Believe me it works of you if you work it.

Hey Jayson....
that is so true. for us to get better we have to do it for ourselves. and like you i am very thankful for the people here. Most of the time they are my only connection. hope you feel better and I am here if you need anything.........

Hey JASON! MIKE F HERE!
We can come here,share our pain,take some suggestions,look at others around us and know we all have something in common,, Stay strong man,like you said got to do it for you  before you can give it to anyone else!Remember on that 4th step to to write about all your assets,like right here for one,sharing the message of experince ,strength and hope! Wish you peace ..........smile

Hey Jayson! Glad your surgery went well. Isn't it amazing how awesome God is? He definately does for me what I cannot do for myself. He has proved that time and time again!
