I have never got a 911 call from anyone in the fellowship.As that must mean someone who wants to use or kill themselves I guess.I have gone and watched other addicts detoxing cold turkey including my own son.I detoxed myself many years ago ,no drug replacement just whiskey,bourbon.I do not recommend that method.I have called 911 a few times but I have had five heart attacks angina,bypass surgery,a pace maker-defribilator.But I keep kicking like the energizer bunny.I would go and support any addict that called and needed help.We are suppose to give back what we have been given.
