I am special, Please let me see, That in every aspect of my life, They can say it is good to be me. And as it harms none so shall it be !
That incanbtation offered to a lit candle, after doing some inventory writing, is my prayer for removal of every bit of self destructiveness from my character.
Remember ? The Basic Text says that " something in our destructive personalities cries for failure".
Seems to be true not only in the failed past, but even in recovery. Ive seen destructiveness come up each time I am succeeding, aided and abetted by others of the same low mentality.
Just for today, I will inventory and humbly ask God as I understand to relieve me of that baondage, and also keep away from others who have that self-destructive mindset !
And instead seek to learn from succcessful people, the ones that have self-esteem and self-confidence in what they do !

That incantation helped me focus on waht I can do for NA rather than what I can get.
In fact, I noticed a disticnt difference in thoughts this day at the Area Sevice Committe of Noth East Endland, where I am the alt- Regional Committee Member.
I was able to speak my thoughts, ideas and opinions without feeling either shy or aggressive, a real blessing ! It made my day to enjoy the service efforts of others !
