One thing Ive learned is that very very few problems are not fixable. Though its also true that I may not know how to fix them.  Im still learning and practicing principles the best I can.

My sponsor tells me often that " We teach people how to treat us ."  so in that mode of thinking I must first look at my part in whatever the problem is.  Its an honest program and if Im being honest I have to say , its much easier to see problems someone else causes than to see the ones I cause.  So I turn to a sponsor often to help me see wtf Im doing  that contributes to the problem.

Also while working a program of honesty I not only can call bullshit on something or someone , but if they are close enough to me Im obligated to do so.  I need these people to show me a better way.  And they need me also.


Its best for me to remember during those times that..........

Honesty without compassion is brutality

I dont like everyone Ive met in NA , But I love them all.  And as someone who wants desperatly to become the person my HP wants me to be , I have to remember to remain humble , compassionate and empathetic .  If not, Im just some jackass running his mouth. And anything I say although it may be true is percieved as the rammblings of a crazy person.

Also on the menu are problems I dont need to deal with in any way EXCEPT to pray and let them go.  Hp will figure out ways I could never dream of to help me out.
