Hello everyone! I hope every1 is havin a blessed day!! I am Tina, a married women with 3 beautiful girls! PLEASE READ MY BIO it will tell u bout me then I will ask u guys some things I am desperately needed some help with.....
Welcome Moon! I read your bio and am happy that despite your husband's unwillingness to seek recovery, you are doing it anyway- remembering that you are powerless over his disease is vital. Do you go to meetings in your area?? You mentioned you have been trying to get clean the last year and a half? Right on:) Let me know more about you, I'd love to share my experience hope and strength. By the way, i have two boys and they are crazy!!! Talk to ya later
I don't know about anyone else, but I know from my experience that living with a using addict is a really good way to be completely miserable... and then get really high.
I have tried several times in the past to interest using addicts in recovery. Its like trying to teach a pig to sing... doesn't do any good and it only annoys the pig.

Welcome moonbeam! Glad you found the site.I also am an addict that attends both Narcotic Anonymous for my recovery and Naranon meetings(co-dependant) as my 23 year old son in recovery from heroin addiction. I agree living with a "using " addict is nuts for all invloved. We had to put our son out during his active period.Keep comin back many of us in similar situations that can share their suggestions, things may or may not have worked for them. You can only be responsible for your own recovery...peace mikef
