Just thought I'd introduce myself... I'm Tisa, I'm an addict. (Shocking to find one of those here, I know.)  I don't get to as many meetings as I'd like... problems with distance, gas, and cash-flow... so I wanted to find a place online to supplement my recovery.

Since it's after midnight, it was yesterday I got 4 years clean. (WOOHOO!) Despite this, I'm very saddened to find that, once again, I am not magically cured. Perhaps I'll be fixed my next clean date? Unfortunately, I was still me the last time I checked, which means that some days I'm closer to demented than dysfunctional.   wink

So, attempting to stay in the solution, here I am for some theraputic value... and some fun... and some ESH.

Ditto on the hugs and congratulations.Glad you found us here.Yes I also am working   on'gradual improvement and not immediate faultlessness and man is it 'GRADUAL"!!!Isn't it amazing how all our little 'diddies' are magnified when we arent obliviated!!Thats a word right?4 years clean,definitely a miracle,keep comin back   mikefsmile

Good Morning Everyone! Tisa, Congrats on your clean time. That's the kind of things I NEED to hear. I've only been in recovery since the end of June. I found this board a week or so ago & I LOVE IT!!! As far as being crazy, hell, who isn't using or clean at some point in life? I know for me to be succseful in my recover I have to keep a sense of humor or I truly would go insane. lol So glad you joined us addicts because I know how much it has helped me already.  Everybody please wish me luck I find out if I am going to have to have surgery because my TMJ has gotten so bad my dentist is sending me to a specialist. Hope you have a great day!

Without our recovery we have nothing. I'm quite serious about that. NA gave me a life I never dreamed I could have!

Hey, sstacey69! Glad you're here! Way to go on the clean time! Its hard at first, but it gets better. Just keep coming back!
