Today I am 2 years clean. I cant believe how time flies. I have no urges to use at all. I had been an addict for over 20 years. I thanking my higher power that im alive today. I have been working my steps and now have 5 sponcees. My addiction started out as alcohol then pot then pain meds. I have had major health problems because of my addiction. These I will have to live with the rest of my life. I was one of those people who thought they had a handle on everything. Not! With the help of the tables and NA I now have reached 2 years. I had someone ask me the other day how much longer I have to go to the meetings? I told them that the meetings are my new friends and I will need them the rest of my life. I look forward to the meetings and outings. I hope someone gets something out of my message. Peace to all and keep coming back it works if you work it. Thanks for being there for me.
