A class act all the way, Ian H. was a loving and caring man in life who will be dearly missed by all who new him and got the chance to be graced by his good character and kindness. I was one of the lucky ones who was blessed to know him and I will be forever better for it. His unique way of sharing his experience and knowledge of the 12 steps was critical in my recovery and is still the cornerstone of my ongoing clean time. I was never be able to thank him enough in his life and I will be forever endepted in his death to carry the message to the next addict who may need to hear the message of hope that Ian carried so very well. He helped a great deal of people and will always be remembered as a selfless and generous soul. We love and miss you my good friend. Till we meet again.
Rip Ian, sorry for your loss bjoberon and your group in Ontario. Don't let his death be in vain, stay clean and help others in your group to do the same.
Thank you for sharing that bjoberon. Perhaps Ian was in some way passing his torch to you... We honor the memory of those who have gone before by living clean and ensuring that recovery is available to the addicts who have yet to arrive at our doors.... Your tribute was spoken from the heart and received by the heart and I thank you for it.
