Where can I get NA reading materials?

I believe the nearest meeting to where I live is about a 2 hour drive.
I would like some reading materials and all I've been able to locate online are pdf files.. usually corrupt, but either way I don't like to spend too much time online, the comp. gives me a headache, lol.

I'm new this whole thing and have been dead set against NA/ AA/ CA etc my entire life because of the first thing said in a meeting " I am an addict." I've always felt like in repeating that sentence a person could never grow beyond the stage in their life as being an addict... I was indignant in my inquiry... "when is one not an addict anymore?"

Despite my youthful belligerence, I am here. I am an addict. I just used about a minute and a half ago.
My entire body is repelled by my brain trying to pull itself out of this rut. My body has mocked me in the past at my attempts, as if it always knew I'd come back. Needless to say, I've seen the demon. I want to beat it.

and I need help.

but I don't know what to do. I looked up rehabs and don't have proper insurance coverage. I looked up groups, as stated earlier. I finally decided on counseling and online meetings, at least temporarily, but now, where can I get proper "one day at a time" information? Or any other material for that matter?

I too stayed away from NA for a long time when there was nothing left to try I tried it and just in time this is a great program with great understandable literature, IF your an addict read the literature and you will relate to something.

Keep coming back

I would like to reply to your comment:
First off I would like to say about the material I have Adobe reader on my computer and also I did was go into where the materials were and i copied all the books and pamphlets and also booklets as I am also having a hard time with going to my one meeting a week and there is another way to do it is to shade all the material you want to get and in order to do that is click on the cursor on the place you want to start and than take your shift key and the arrow pointing down well hold down both until all is shaded you want as reading material and right click and press copy and if you have e-mail or a site you have to put the material you just copied and than press the cursor and right click the pointer and press paste and the information can be put anywhere.
If you have a friend who has a printer and he or she has a computer than e-mail them the copies and they will print it off for you or if you are working in a place where you have a computer hooked up to the printer you can do that also.
I am sorry if it seems complicated and I am on disability and I cannot afford the luxuries of buying books.
I went to this AA meeting on Monday and I bought this meditations booklet and I paid 12.00 and I could not afford it but to me it is worht all the money that I spend because if I was using I would be broke right now and I would say material things is way better than the using life anyday.
So if you are struggling please stick it out as it does get better.
Bigmike1954 and I am mike I am definately an addict.
