Hi all, Heres some good news I need to share. I went back to class after vacation. I see that the tutor has the corrected assignments in fron of him. In the seminar he indicates that the marks range has been from 27 to 73. Im wondering whwre I am but have to wait two hours before he gives us the evaluation. By this time my anxiety had kicked in and I was fearing the worst and also hoping for the best,,in turns. However as he begins to hand back the corrected assignments, he comes to me, gives me my work and says "Youve come first,,a remarkable piece of work". I am gushing and vey happy and blurt out "Thanks Phil,God Bless you".
Im feeling great and show my work to my close friends in my work group. Then I have a chance to say to my tutor "The credit is to you Phil" and I really meant it. Im amazed at how an idiot like me can surpass himself time and again,, simply because recovery in NA really works.
All the pain of not doing well,,sharing about those agonies,,then admitting my own wrong doings and being willing to take suggestions have been at the core of this success.
That said however the course is not over at all. The important thing is that I now have some Guiding principles that will certainly work in otherasignments too,,so Im hoping that I will have another victory in my recovery the NA Way !!,

I also thank the tutors here who helped me to recover from some very bad experiences with other students. Most of them are fresh from undergraduate,motivated to do all the right things and most upsetting for me was how they all stayed close to their own sub-groups and held things close. I also had a bad experience in some feedback issues in one module. I as the manager of the group had suggested we share marks equeally,and the other three agreed. But I got a shock when I learnt that the marker had scored us differently. there i was,having done a lot of work, both as the manager and as a facilitator and contributed lots of material to the presentation. My feedback indicated an equeal score for all and this way i also kept my word. However one of them was not trustworthy because she gave herself more makrs,whereas she was the one that was mostly absent from meetings. What she contributed by way of material was not outstanding,she only did her share. This has been a very negative experience and I know I will find justice for the tow marks that were taken from my score and given to her and the other woman in the group.
