I had a 20 month anniversery yesterday. Im like the other guy... I forgot. Im very blessed to have another day clean. The system works if you work it. I have felt better than ive felt for years......
The "other guy" is a girl, but that's OK...LOL....people keep asking me what I did for my "real" 25th anniversary last year and I have no clue....I know I was clean & sober, so it had to be a good day. Each one has been better than the one before, even though not every day is trouble-free/ I've had worse pain and sorrow in some of my recovery years than when I was using, but thre is real truth tot he saying "My best day high/drunk is not as good as my worst day straight & sober. Congratulations on your year and eight months!!! (C, I can count when I put my mind to it. :)
