I was rather distracted last year before and on my anniversary and didn't really "celebrate". So I decided to put more into it this year. Just one miscalculation.
My clean & sober date is 4/6/83. For weeks now Ive been sharing, posting & blogging on my "pending" 25th anniversary. How hysterical is that? ROFLMAO
Lesson learned: rather than worry about projecting too much about an upcoming anniversary, pay enough attention so as not to miss it!!!!!

HAH Lee you know how they say stay in TODAY that cuzz we can't keep track of time anyhow least of all me I don't have a clue what I did last week no less what day I got clean I know its in July, I think LOL
Good going man the days are stackin up UH I mean YEARS thats a good thing!
They all sang Hapy birthday to you,,happy birthday to you,,haphaphappy birthday to you dear Lee,,happy birthday to you !!!!! and had coffee and cake!
and chatted with each other,,,on this and that and all things bad and nice !!!,,,,,,,,,,,while the kettle kept boiling and even them that felt like the hole in the ,,,,began to celebrate,,, cause it was our very own Lee that did 26 on that date !!!
(,,,,, ,,,,,those that said we couldnt make it!!,, see their jaws drop,,,,ha,ha,ha. the last laughs on them,we took our revenge by staying clean.) Then the hugs and the handshkes turned em round,,,
and we all felt blessed and happy !!!

THANK YOU GUYS!!!!I am so blessed to have so much come my way from this site, from this fellowship. I hope and pray every day that those who are still suffering, in despair, in withdrawal, depressed, discouraged, in trouble...that everyone keeps coming back, and keeps coming back. It is such a long time later from that "Little White Book" (1976) that kept me coming back and still keeps me going today. Theres just no excuse for anyone to not "get here", with the face-to-face meetings, the books and booklets, the phone, the web...amazing!!
