Does Ultram work for opiate detox? Anyone have experience with this?

I have been reading a little about it online and there seems to be 2 sides to the story (of course) can anyone give me more information please?

Hi there-  I've used it and it definately helped.  It's been a while though.  You definately don't get high and it helps with the w/d symptoms.

yeah today is day 1 and im' slightly foggy but not like normal, it really is helping! i'm definitely not high but i don't feel depressed and totally dragging ass like normal...i am also not experiencing diarrhea (yet) so keep my fingers crossed! thanks
