Trying to stay clean, but my husband has just relapsed

I have more than one year clean and so did my husband until this past weekend. Everything was going well (so I thought). He says he is not using anymore, but he looks high to me. We go to meetings everyday and other recovering addicts also say he looks high.

My support system has been great. I've gone to 8 meetings in the last 3 days. I talk to my sponsor everyday and at least 3 different addicts everyday. I am praying and turning this over to my HP.

This is still so hard!

Anyone have some words of wisdom?

I can see how it would be difficult but stay solid don't melt down show him for one thing that nothings going to make YOU go back out set the example and stay grounded.

Powerlesness, it can really be a difficult thing to accept, sorry your having to go through this relapse is sometimes an eye opening experience showing us we need ot buckle down and take thing more seriously dont give up hope on him but he needs to come out of the denial ASAP otherwise he'll spiral downward , then on the other hand sometimes thats neccessary also.

Keep praying keep going to meetings and talking it out with your support group your doing what you need to do to stay clean.

Your a great example of everything that you need to do.  It sounds like the last thing you need are any words of wisdom. Matter fact Im betting you could give some to me.
Keep going to your meetings, Keep sharing. Keep calling addicts.
All the love in the world cant help you carry another addict. Focus on YOUR recovery. To thine own self be true.
 Best of luck

This is a selfish program. You all didn't get clean for each other, you got clean for yourself. With that said, you need to protect your recovery and keep the focus on yourself. If he is using, the only one that can make him stop is him.
