NO WAY half my software won't work on Apple and to replace it with other similiar software would cost 10 times what I payed.
I haven't had a virus in years just gotta be a little more savy then the virus makers plus you can't get the meeting room mIRC software on an apple a least noone I know has yet

those are just Wives Tales Bigv. The DuocoreŽ processor, in the mac, is 2 processors in one, and can run windows on one side and mac of the other. Not to mention emulator software. I've had no problems getting into the meeting rooms either. And I've NEVER had a virus or had to carry my computer to a service facility.
If it weren't for steve jobs creating the mac os, you pc people would still be trying to run dos.
I've had no problems getting into the meeting rooms either.
We still have 3 days out of the week in need of a chair person
The problem has been getting the software to RUN the meetings on a mac but honestly it's been a problem PERIOD
My next PC might just be an apple I have to go over to a family members house to help them setup some editing software for video on there mac so it will be a first time for me running a mac and I can't wait to see what this thing is all about, its a high dollar mac and from what I have seen with the virtual desktops alone looks quite fascinating.
Macs come with video editing software. They must be into some custom stuff. Programs install automatically on Mac. Just click install and agree to the software license, everthing else goes where it's supposed to. I'm on my 3rd mac in 16 years. My second (13 years old) mac works perfectly and is in NC.
The one that I'm currently using is a mac mini. 6" x 6" x 3" tall. I paid $450 for it new. 1.8 mhz intel core dou 80gig hd 1 gig of ram. Came standard with wireless blue tooth and all the photo/video editing software most people would need. I've had a year now and i really like it. No noise, no heat, doesn't take up space.
I was actually looking at that mac mini before I bought this second Dell I have a pretty good one here with dual core processor and lots of ram but that little mini looked real good.
I think they have the software like you mentioned Dean there just not sure how to work it I have several different farely good quality programs for editing but haven't gone deep into it, just enough to make decent video presentations.
I was looking at whats out there now I have had this PC 5 years and for what I payed just for the tower I could get one twice as powerful and a complete system but thats how it goes, this is fast and pretty stable 64 bit integres processor so that helps keep it stable to I think.
BUT always worry about bugs millions of bugs virus's worms etc etc out there for this operating system UGH your pretty safe they dont bother much with you mac users but THEY SHOULD
