Hi mclovin,

My name is Kathleen and I too am an opiate addict. The help that I can offer you is limited, as I live in Canada and detox is covered in our health care.
I agree with you that getting medical help to come off of the oxys is important.
I did a little research and I found a number, I am not sure if you have it.
1-866-99-DETOX (1-866-993-3869). It offers info on the programs in your area.
here is the link to the web site http://www.99detox.com/opiate-detox.php

Good luck, keep posting. I will pray for you.

take care and keep coming back

Hey Adam,
you can negotiate with the hospitals.  call thier accounts receivable dept.  and telll them that you can't afford much more than your insurance will pay for.  I've done this before, for my father and my wife, with good results.
