Yes folks,,
today I got news that my VISA application to study my Masters in UK has been approved.
This means I will go form here for two years to study the4 first year and then work in England the second.
This is a dream come true.
So I got the VISA and whats the big deal  you may ask.
Id want to pint out that we from the Third World have to go thru evidence and evidence to get visas to UK,,,US etc.
That f&*%^$# dopey m!@#$%^&**() at the US embassy broke my heart when I tried to get a visa for the 50th World Convention.
Was my dream to be ther but that stayed a dream.
Thats when I decided Ill never humiliate myself by trying to goto the US.
Then four years later my life has changed because of the 12 Step Program.
So now I get admission in the top Univ. for event management in UK and then my visa is approved.
What works works..
Id sure ove to do a NA Pilgrimage of US  later on in life,,, till then it will be hard work, fun and festivity in Sheffield.
I want to express gratitude to all here too,,,
Vin,BlitheJohn especially ,,,,
and all yall others too who share and support me in my recovery !!

Raman,

I own a construction business that's a corporation that's registered with the US Govt. If you need a letter for a work visa to the USA, let me know I'll write it in a heart beat for you if it helps. I've also got a very nice guest room with it's own bathroom etc.. (It's just me and my wifej living in a 3 bedroom house) here on the west coast of Florida near Tampa. You're welcome to stay here for a month or so. Maybe you can teach me the basics of how to learn to play sax smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif I'm serious, BigV that invitation extends to you also.

Buddy,, my dear buddy,, you are right.
Theres my studies and therefore career prospect to look forward to.
then theres my babe Jax,,waiting with open arms,, weve been working on this for nigh on one year now !
Shes been a turnaround for me.
Then theres te chance I may be able to educate my darling child Anja there too,, its a dream for an Inidan kid to study in England,, more so as my little one was very into Harry Potter .
( i remember the nite when we downloaded her mock admission form for Hogwarts and hung it on her bedroom door ,,,she was truly thrilled !!!)
The hard part will be leaving Ma,,for all of 46 years weve been together !!@
Now im going to have to let her go and hope for the best in terms of her health and how I can cope with any emergency !
Faith is a lack of fear,, and what more can I ask for ?
That part of England is full of NA meetings and Ive already been welcomed by the Area Chair over email.
Yes my friend,,, Im living the dream !

Yes Dean,, I did see the Google map,, nice place you live in !
And talking of construction,, boy is Bangalore smoking,,,the real estete scene is very lucrative right now.
Thats been another blessing in my recovery,,
the mansion Pa left us was nothing even tree years ago but by the Grace of God my younger bro.(still drinking) and I clicked a profitable deal,,,
the 12 Steps taught me how to deal with the success !!
hahaha !!!

Congratulations, Raman. The folks I work for are from India. Punjab, I think he said. Not sure, but he, too, has a hard time with visas. He went home to get marrid couple of years ago and had only 1 month with his wife, had to return to US without her for two more years. She only just arrived this year, due to delays in getting her visa. Glad you are pursuing your dreams. Good Luck!

Wow, thanks for the offer. I've considered projects in other countries and outside the continental US. I bought some beach front propety in Costa rica (caribbean ocean) and was going to build there but when I started considering the logistics, it was mind boggling. I also went to Guam and built a high rise condo building, in early sobriety. That was a trip working with pacific islanders (American Samoans). I learned a lot from them spiritually. I attendend their morning prayer seasons where they sang their prayers in 3 part harmonies. It made me cry every time. I'm trying to finish my mountain home project now (4 years so far weirdface).
