Thanks Vini

Hey Vini, thanks for reaching out smile.gif I'm doin' good, have been trying to assess where I stand in terms of my recovery just to see if everything's alright, especially after I got a using dream that was different in the sense that I use and use a lot and find myself stoned to the extreme in this dream. I shared this at a meeting immediately and one oldtimer who I adore and respect a lot for the program and recovery he has came to me after the meeting and told me that as long as I don't use in my using dreams, I'm ok, but if I'm using in my using dream, then it's time I take a look at my emotional and spiritual condition. I'm so glad he passed on that information to me. So, it's been a  lot of introspection time, a phase of inner change, the inside job, for me lately in the last few weeks.

As a result, I feel much more lighter, teachable and comfortable with who I am and where I stand in context with a few issues and life situations that my Higher Power has sent my way smile.gif

Also, I must admit I have been too busy dealing with life on life's terms, and as such, been hard-pressed for time and space to be able to do all that I would otherwise want to squeeze into my 24/7...

That meant reprioritization from the Basics of my recovery onwards, regular attendance at meetings, daily inventory, admitting and righting my wrongs in my daily life, working towards my commitments to my loved ones, family and friends and more involvement in the local fellowship here at the group and area level.

Also, thanks to my Sponsor's suggestion a year back, I took to a hobby again, Philately, and this hobby has become a very important part of my life and nourishment too lately. Keeps me busy in whatever spare time and space I could manage in my daily life, also found this hobby to be a great stress-buster, I use it for unwinding and also as meditation to release my anxiety and fears smile.gif

So, it's very good that at times like these when a member reaches out to me like you did Vini, and Raman reminding me about your email again last Sunday, as that is the message that I get from my Higher Power, a go-ahead, an indication that I have worked considerably enough internally and it's time to get back to finding balance with my online fellowship network again, besides my involvement with my local f2f fellowship smile.gif So, thanks for delivering this message from my Higher Power, now that I think of it, I have been missing my MIP family here a lot, to be honest smile.gif

NA Hugs & Fellowship Love, Tahir.

Hobbies in recovery=
I took up watch and clock repair and collection. Thats when i had stopped smoking about 14 years agao and I thought it was a great idea to do something with my fingers,,,
many hours of dedication and study,, and this day Im in possession of perhaps the best clock and pocket watch collection in my big city of 10 million.
I was attracted to billuarsd and snooker,,, many hours of practice and dedicationa dn9 years later theres about 15 winner and runner up cups in my side stand !!
Hobbies have revealed hiddeb sides of myself that otherwiuse stayed concealed in the course of profession, family friends etc.
Ive used what was Serene and useful to my recovery and gladly let go what didnt work !!
In fact hobbies gave me a lot of Step writoing material.
Most of all the Steps have cleared the confusion and contradiction in my life !
What I knew of the TRUTH has changed !!!
