Isolated but wired

Hi y'all,

I spent 16 years incarcerated; I've been out 8.  Now I live in the middle of nowhere and prefer these meetings.  I've spent thousands on therapy, been sober a long time with the help from humans, which I believe are HP on Earth.  Getting high was the alternative to blowing my brains out, so I need an escape from that horrid feeling....my brother died when I was 6 and death has been attractive to me ever since.  Drugs rocketed me out of shitty feelings.  Now, talking to people rockets me out of isolation and other shitty feelings.  A few years ago my closest sister died of a heroin overdose.  Her oldest son, whom I'm closest to of all family, is apparently on the same path, sadly.  All I can do is be a source of sanity for him, but he goes back.....I write many of the women I left behind; I dream of prison very often (PTSD?) but no help out here.....my husband is an Earth person and cannot comprehend my reality.  So I have you all.  I need lots of contact.  I'm signed up for daily emails, new topics, etc.  But anyone who can relate, please communicate smile

Thanks for the welcome Mr Winky.  I can't drive to meetings.  I used to when I lived elsewhere.  This is superior to waiting for them to start, too.

Hi Annie, I've been away from the computer a few days and just wanted to say welcome and hello. I don't chat because I'm using a work computer, but you can talk to me anytime at night. (3rd shift worker) Or you may feel free to email me. Hope to hear from you soon. Well, hang in there. Much Love and Respect, Dan H

Hey Dan, see your whiteboard.  Keep coming back seems to mean 90 meetings in 9 days for me right now, but I need to stick with members too.  I mean the respect you sent my way.  Non members scare me weirdface
