hey guys..i only get in the room on friday and saturday nights because of work, we didnt have a mod again last night 7/11 . those of you that do it do a great job and im greatful for you. im not complaining because i cant do it myself.first of all because im an idiot and could never get it.but most of all because im to new in recovery and im not ready for that kind of service. this is just a heads up..gnu took me and a few others through some really good step work and it was a good meeting though slightly out of control..thanks for all that contribute to keeping this thing going. anthonyg ..damn vin..i missed you while i was typing this . im here and good hope alls good with you birthday boy.take care

Sorry about that Anthony i'm trying to find out whats up with that chairperson. People make commitments then end up backing out without letting me know and this is usually how I find out.
I can't be at every meeting so sorta depend on what others tell me I'm working on this one now, thanks and sorry once again no one was there.
Glad to hear your hangin, are there local meetings you can attend on nights off? gotta get yourself a sponsor too you know the ropes :)

hey vin,,i know damn well you cant be there all the time.i didnt mean to lay any kind of guilt trip on you.your one of the good guys and your in my corner..also i expect addicts to be addicts..even if they are recovering. so being an addict i tell you 10 pm tommorrow, well that could mean 11 pm 1230 pm or maybe even next week at 9 pm..you get my drift..? we all been through it, its better waiting for a meeting than it was waiting for " the man " . im rammbling sry..i just want to let the powers that be know. and your right. i gotta find close meeting on my nights. later dude

Right on Anthony wasn't no guilt trip on my back thats not me anymore I do what I have committed myself to and thats all i'm responsible for, get 6 months clean and you can take one of the nights over theres ALWAYS openings LOL
I'm thankful to everyone who can help even if its just for a little while, to the chair people If you will just let me know when your done serving I can get things covered for our meetings quiker I hate to hear theres a room full of people especially newcomers and no one to hold a meeting but this has been an issue ever since day one of me trying to organize this department. I used to get pretty damned worked up then I just learned I had no control over others and things always seem to work themselves out sooner or later.
I also strongly believe in posting on this board as a recovery tool, you can get very good feedback and shares from some damn good people here who have a lot of fine recovery experiences, THIS board is whats gotten me threw a few issues in the last 2 years .
