Sometimes the apple doesn't fall far from the tree does it? I hope you get to see them all grow into responsible adults....

I heard a quote that said "Our lives are shaped by a bunch of yes and no decisions we make inbetween 18-25 years of age"

Yes, I can very much relate to the topic of my choices affecting my children, who are also now adults. Sometimes I wish it (they, me, the past) could be different, but I've that acceptance is part of the solution. As adults, they have the power to make changes and different for themselves if they wish. I remain hopeful that someday that will happen.

Id just started working the 4th Step with my sponsor of that time !!!
To clear away my last doubts hed said
"if you truly believe this Program works fro an addict with the desire to change then you will never regret the past because life will give you another chance at what you missed when you were getting high or were misguided !!!"
Thats a long semtence but Ive seen it come true in my own life,,,
my family scenes where Im am a responsible parent and loving son,,, my music career,,,growth of NA here,,, studies and qualifications,, social belonging and acceptance and now recently finding the true love of my life !!!

Dreams do come true in recovery !
