I had a visit with my Daughter for a few days. She is in University, myself and my wife live in another country so it is not often we get to visit her. It was so nice to visit her as a responsible parent, someone that she could look up to rather than be embarrassed of what I might do or say. We just hung out, ate at restaurants, talked, watched some hockey etc.
Staying clean is the best thing that has happened to me since before the first time I ever touched dope. I am feeling stronger than ever about recovery and just wanted to let you all know that it has been a great couple of days for me and my Daughter. Thanks to my Higher Power and NA.

Right on Ken things are looking up glad to hear other things have passed, its the little things that make this so worth while after awhile you'll never want to give up what you have, Happy for you and your family Brother.
Thanks Vinnie, had the same thing with my Son over in Montreal. It was great! I am still on the recovery road, but feeling much stronger. Got to make sure that I stick to the program.
