Watch out for the cold medicines

I've had a head cold for 2 days now barely gotten out of bed I feel so bad. I took some decongestants this morning and cough suppressor and a few hours later I felt like using so bad !!! must have been some sudafed or something tweeky in one of them or the combination of things I took.

Anyhow layed in bed just praying GOD MAKE ME WELLbleh I dont want to use.

Just sharing and getting it out of me, tellin on myself yawn

If you are dibatic, like me, all cold medicines are off limits! They increase your sugar levels......and you have to read the fine print to find out.

I can remember wanting to be rid of my cold so fast that I did the same thing.....whoa.....big mistake but we all learn from our lessons.....

Viruses eventually run their course and we must practice patience during those times.

I hope your feeling better by now Big V. I had a very nasty cold myself and since I'm pregnant, even tame, normally 'safe' medications were off limits too. I got by with lots of chicken soup with ginger in it (for some reason ginger always helps when i have a cold) and hot salt water gargles, and epson salt baths and bedrest

Yes I am fine thanks all just allergyds which pass more swiftly then a cold or flu.

Where I live in the central valley there are MANY fruit trees I drive threw groves and miles of tree daily its INSANE when one has allergys I want to wear a resperator and even hold my breathe not to breathe it all in LOL.


Thanks again I threw out all those cold drugs, never again next time its alternative medicines :)ie: chicken soup and eucalyptus drops
