Welcome to Miracles in Progress (MIP). This is an online message board for people in recovery, primarily Narcotics Anonymous. Here we share our experience, strength, and hope with one another as a way to support each other through the joys and struggles of staying clean.
You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you like. No pressure.
Narcotics Anonymous also has meetings in many locations around the world. NA meetings are were people meet to also share their experience, strength, and hope. Face to face (f2f) NA meetings can be very, very helpful.
You might be interested in checking out some NA literature to become more familiar with the program of recovery. You can find some online literature at http://www.na.org/ips/
Again, welcome. I look forward to reading your posts.
If you look at the top of this page, there is a link to an MIP meeting that takes place every night. In between meetings, that link can be used for live chat.
This part where you are now reading and typing is more like a message board. We post messages, but it doesn't follow the format or guidelines of a meeting.
The two parts: (1) meeting/chat and (2) message board = two parts of the same group, Miracles in Progress.
Welcome home, Fatal. As a newcomer all this could be confusing at times as it has been for me, but as I kept coming back to NA, things became more and more clearer, gradually. I never had to leave
As Blithe shared above, you can use this message board as a daily support network to staying stopped from using drugs. I share my pain and joy and everything in between with others here, and in return, get the support and guidance from other recovering addicts who've been where I've been and have found a way out with the help of the program that NA has to offer.
Stay with us, NA Hugs, Tahir.
