seeing as Ramans gratitude post slipped down under... lets continue. biggrin

5 things i am gratful for today....

Narcotics Anonymous!!!!! i got to be part of an HI meeting at our detox last night, many insiders came to shake our hands and thank us for sharing our stories after the meeting. Our newcomers that remind me that nothing changes if nothing changes, and that it is the same out there..

My past, which keeps me wanting to grow in recovery today so i don't go back-wards

My job, which allows me to live comfortably today.

The residents at my job, that remind me to live fully today, one of our residents is dying of cancer, one night he said to my boss...its hard to sleep when you know death is at the door, we never know when our time is up.

my HP, which allows me to live!!!

to be so well connected with my brother and sister recovering addicts from al over the Globe.
to be living a lofe outside of the "rooms" too
for my Ma,Anjie,and Jax
for the Power of Meditaion and Prayer in my life
for a certain level of financial freedom
for the clean time and the serenity

for the choice to be clean today

for the love and strength my HP gives me

for my girls unconditional love and support

for a new NA meeting in my small city

my puppy, who continues to get me up early!!!

Today I am grateful...

...To wake up clean with no remorse, regrets, embarrassments

...To know where I was last night, what I did and with whom I did it; where I am this morning; and where my car is parked

...For the power of recovery and the members who touch my life

...To be comfortable in my life, in my skin, in my spirit

...For all of those (some of you are right here at MIP) who carried me for a minute, a day, a week -- and didn't even know it
