so where do we begin ?? although Ive doen my 4th long ago,,im still willing to help you out !! In fact the first questions from the Step Guide,,, page 32of The Narcotics Anonymous Step Working Guides is= *Do I have any reservations about working this Step ? What are they ? *What are some of the benefits that could come from making a searching and fearless moral inventory of myself ? *Why shouldnt I procrastinate about working this Step ? *What are the benefits of not procrastinating ? Now I want to share somethng vital about the writing part= my sponsor sais to not think about sharing tis inventorty with another recovering person/sponsor or whoever !! thats because when we think we need to read out what weve wriitten,,, some sort of editing mechanism seems to take over and we tend to write only "acceptable"stuff !! So i was told to write ion order to save my life,, nothing else mattered then (same now too,,, in the 10thh,,, but more of that later !!!) best of luck and somooth sailing Chezda !!

There is a step-working board here at MIP where different 12-Step fellowship members have their own step threads, where many members share their experiences, strength and hope with working a particular step. There, we take a Step at a time in their numeral sequence. This step work group helped me a lot to not only share my own experiences, but to also benefit from others' experiences, giving me new insights and perspectives about the Steps Just check it to see if it helps you too...
The link to this part of the MIP Step Work Board is:

Sorry I took a while in answering guys I was out of town.
Blithe, the answer is I had a sponsor when I lived in halfway in South Africa, I'm now resident back at home in Botswana some 600 kilometres away. So currently. No. I don't have a sponsor. I do go back to South Africa to my rehab and work with mu counsellor every couple of months. I had started Step four with my sponsor so I know how to go about it, and I have someone to do Step % with, But it's a question of completing Step 4.
Oops, sorry, pressed the wrong button before i'd finished. Anyway. I'll take Tahir's suggestion then and log on to the link that helps people work the steps before I next see my counsellor and former sponsor and try work step four that way because I think it's important for me to get through it as best I can. And I think just as part of the healing process. It's imporatant for me.
