The online group I belong to is registered with world...even if they don't accept online recovery as NA :) Yep, that's all it takes. There are other groups online who are registered too. I know for a fact that NA WorldWide is registered and I'll bet there are more.

When you put "web" in the meeting locator, there are so many meetings online today....when I first came online, EarthGroup was one of the only ones I found there.... :)

Ok cool Glora thanks i'm checking it with John so we can be LEGIT :) I also contacted earthgroup coordinator a minute ago just to see what the process is.

Like I said, we can register with world; that does NOT mean they will accept us as an NA group because of the fact that we are online. We have no area, we have no region, we have no voice.

The only groups recognized online are area, regional, and metro that also meet face to face and most of these do NOT have online meetings. They provide information about NA and NA meetings, NA functions, etc. They have the privilege of being able to put NA logos and literature online because they have face to face meetings also. They follow the FITP rules and regulations accordingly and there are many.

I pray one day that world will accept us as NA groups and NA meetings as there are many addicts who cannot leave home due to illness and health problems but still need a meeting!!

I'm proud of the NA meetings, the addicts who serve selflessly, and the groups online who are trudging forward through the negativity of world :)
